As a prominent figure in the post-modern underground "Trim" scene of Californian shapers, Jeff McCallum of McCallum Surfboards has garnered international acclaim over 15 years of shaping, captivating enthusiasts of unique, exceptional surfboards.

Starting in the purest tradition of shapers by sweeping and packing boards at Chris Christenson's workshop, Jeff spent three years mastering the craft under Christenson's guidance. Now, he handcrafts all his surfboards in his San Diego workshop, producing six boards a week with a steadfast focus on quality over quantity.

Influenced by shapers like Chris Christenson, Skip Frye, William Riedel, Larry Crow, Bob Simmons, and George Greenough—some of whom he has had the privilege to work alongside—Jeff is back in France for a very limited shaping session.
